WHO
CAN JOIN

For now, ISC membership is open to people who have trained with
Jonathan Horwitz and/or Annette Høst of the Scandinavian
Center for Shamanic Studies. You also need to want to be part
of the community and have a continuing interest in the practice
of shamanism - whether in your daily life, with others, or the
wider world.
As we are still in a relatively early stage, it is important to
keep a focus to our circle. This is why we have decided to currently
limit ourselves to people who have come from the SCSS, so we share
a common approach. However, we are discussing how to widen our
circle and welcome ways to look beyond it, to work with the wider
future of shamanism and keep the channels of communication open.

you have not trained with the SCSS but are interested in connecting
with us, as a shamanic individual, group or organisation, please

and tell us who you are, what you do and how you would like to
connect with the ISC. We hope to extend membership to those outside
the SCSS in the future.
LOST & FOUND
Many practising shamanic colleagues and interested friends from
past courses of the Scandinavian Center for Shamanic Studies may
not have heard of the ISC. Their views and experience can enrich
our circle and we want to reach anyone who wishes to be part of
this community. If you know someone who might be interested and
who trained with the SCSS, please tell them about this website.
